The parishes of Castletown, Tara Hill and Coolgreany comprise the catchment area for Castletown Liam Mellows GAA club. The club grounds are located in Tomnahealy, a townland between Castletown and Tara Hill. The club fields teams in both codes from U5 right the way through to adult level where we compete in the Wexford Senior Football Championship and Wexford Intermediate A Championship. the hurling section of the club is known as Liam Mellows, named after the prominent Anti-Treaty Republican who is buried in Castletown Graveyard. The club encompasses an LGFA section and a camogie section along with providing football and camogie pursuits through the GAA Healty Club Committee initiative 'Mothers and Others'.
